LibreTime is an online based playout system, built to support an elaborate daily schedule and not just to fill in the gaps when you’re not broadcasting live.
LibreTime can run in automated mode, similar to Auto DJ, but you can also broadcast live with Libretime, you can even schedule and regulate live broadcast slots!
LibreTime supports multiple user accounts with different access levels (Guest, DJ, Programme Manager and Admin), it features a calendar widget that can embedded onto your own website which automatically updates when you add new shows, and it’ll even give your station a microsite which you can use however you see fit!
It is an extremely powerful piece of software that provides advanced features to users who need more than the basic auto DJ functionality However, it’s important to remember that it can be slightly more advanced to use. If you are used to using the Auto DJ software we offer on Centova Cast, AzureCast, and MediaCP services, it is important to bare in mind that Libretime has a significantly different workflow, and is built to fulfil a different purpose.
For this reason, we have created this user guide, which we highly recommend reading in it’s entity before attempting to use the software.
