Generating a new Streamerr Player is very straightforward – this article will walk you through the process.
First, head to Player, here. Log in using the same credentials you would use to log into our website (streamerr.co). Once you’ve logged in, you’ll be on the ‘Players’ page – click the black ‘Add New Player’ button at the top of the page.
The ‘Add New Player’ box will load. Here, you can enter a name for your player, specify the platform (ShoutCast/IceCast), enter the stream URL (we strongly recommend using a direct stream URL such as the one shown), enter a metadata URL for MediaCP or Centova Cast services if you have one (please see here for a guide on how to find this), and specify the mount point/stream ID that the player will use.
Please note – for our Centova Cast clients, you need to use the radioca.st URL found in the Quick Links page in Centova Cast.
Click ‘Add’ in the bottom right corner. You’ll then see your newly-created player in the ‘My Players’ list, and you can click the ‘Edit’ icon to the right to make further changes.
Here, you can make further changes to the player’s colour and appearance, upload a default artwork image that will be shown when no track artwork can be found, turn Autoplay on or off, change the station name, and choose whether or not to show the current listener count. You can also change the player size, and configure the blur settings.
You’ll find the HTML code for the player at the bottom of this page – make sure you click ‘Save’ after making any changes! That’s all – you’re done, and your new player is ready to use! Simply follow the instructions at the bottom of the page to place the HTML code on your website correctly. Please don’t hesitate to contact our support team if you require any help with this process!
