Relaying in SHOUTcast

To relay a single stream using ShoutCast, head to the Settings page in CentovaCast, found on the left hand side navigation bar. Then, click on the ‘Mount Points’ tab.

Click on the mount point that you wish to configure the relay on. Head to the ‘AutoDJ Settings’ tab and ensure that the AutoDJ is disabled for this mount point. Then, click ‘Update’ at the bottom of the page.

Once the AutoDJ is disabled on the mount point, click on the ‘Relaying’ tab. Here, you can enter the stream URL that you wish to relay on this mount point. Some example stream URL’s are as follows:

http://cosmo.shoutca.st:8049/;

https://examplestream.radioca.st/;

Once you’ve entered the stream URL, make sure you click ‘Update’ at the bottom of the page.

Once you’ve clicked ‘Update’, make sure you restart your server using the button on the left hand side navigation pane, under ‘Server’.

That’s it! Your station will now be relaying the specified stream URL, on the mount point you have set it up on. If you run into any issues with this process, please don’t hesitate to contact our support team, who will be happy to help.

More information on mountpoint relaying for ShoutCast services can be found in CentovaCast’s documentation, here: Relaying Another Stream
