Before you begin the upload process, it is important to set up your “Track Types”. This must be done as an admin user! (This won’t matter if you have just logged in, as by default you are logging into the admin account).
Track types are one of the tools used to distinguish between all your different uses for your files: music, jingles, scheduled shows, and adverts for example. You can set up as many of these as you wish.
Navigate to Settings/Track Types, and you should see a table displayed. At the top of this there is a button “add new track type”.
For the code field you will need to enter a number, or short name which will show up in your tracklist, once we come to using these files.
