First, make sure you are logged in to VDO Panel. Then, click ‘Live Broadcasting’ on the left-hand side navigation menu, and click ‘Security Setting’.
Here, you’ll be presented with two authentication options. The first option uses the stream key to authenticate the source, and the second option authenticates the source by it’s IP address. We generally recommend using the first option – ‘Lock streaming by RTMP password auth’.
Click ‘Update’ below the two options.
Now, you will see your RTMP URL and stream key, for use in your chosen video broadcast software, such as OBS. We strongly recommend OBS, as it is 100% compatible with VDO Panel, free, and open source. You can download OBS here.
Simply enter the RTMP URL and stream key into your chosen broadcast software, and you will now be connected & broadcasting to your VDO Panel service.
