How to change the streaming server in MSCP

MSCP supports IceCast V2, IceCast KH, ShoutCast V2, SteamCast and RSAS, making it a very versatile control panel. This guide will show you how to change the streaming server that your MSCP service is using.

Please make sure that your streaming server is stopped before making this change! Once you’ve stopped your server, head to the main page of MSCP. From here, click on the ‘Config’ button (the cog/gear icon) at the bottom of the ‘Stream Server’ box.

Now you’ll see the General Settings page, and a dropdown box for the ‘Stream server’ option. Here, you can see all the options for your streaming server – simply select your desired one, and then click ‘Set’ at the bottom of the page.

Once you have clicked the ‘Set’ button, click the ‘Main page’ button in the top right corner.

That’s it – your streaming server has now been changed! Simply click the ‘Start’ button at the bottom of the ‘Stream server’ box to start your server. Please note that the server settings will not be lost, but some reconfiguration will likely be necessary after the change.
